La Trappe Blond

A Dutch Trappist blond beer

Appearance:

Pale straw with not much head but it does stick around.

Aroma:
Hint of citrus but mainly malty.

Taste:

The light citrustaste that fade to nice smooth malt. The finish is dry a predominatly malty with a more citrus and a touch of hops to make a it very pleasent.

Overall:

It's an above average beer but never excels, it better than other premimum beers, but I does not excite me. It does seem to be very thirst quenching and hence ideally summer beer IMO.

7.5/10
