Appearance:
An amber with a large redness in it with a good head that has legs, I swear the picture in the book is of Bank's bitter.
Aroma:
To me it has a smell like grapes with some hops and a caramel mixed in.
Taste:
Initially the taste is dominated by sweet malt flavour however there is burnt fruit/sugar undertones and hops to balance this with a nice carbonation . The finish of fading hop bitterness with a very weak soft red wine flavour mixed in.
Overall:
While not being too complex and as flavourful as other beers I could drink this any day, very quaffable ideal beer for when talking with friends
