Abbaye des Rocs

A Belgium abbey beer with a nice 9% abv

Appearance:

Reddy cloudy brown with a cream head that lasts

Aroma:

Like over ripe grapes with a hint of spices and a touch of malts

Taste:

Ripe fruit and a touch of corriander with a malt background and some hops coming through later. The finish is very sweet, spicy and malt and final a hop taste is what is left.

Overall:

I was looking forward to this beer but I found it a little disappointing, the depth of flavour was good but some how this beer failed to hit the spot for me.

7.0/10
