Diebels Alt

German Alt beer today

Appearance:

A clear dark chestnut coloured beer with good lasting head.

Aroma:

Mainly hops with a touch of orange and then finally some malt.

Taste:

Initially the taste is earthy taste with a handful of toasted nuts thrown and a nice carbonation level for this beer. The finish is dry and contains with the toasted nuts with maybe a touch of the orange I talked about earlier in the aroma

Overall:

It is a nice beer with enough ale characteristics to be different and enough lager characteristics to be easy to drink and not to heavy. Another beer I will look out for when looking for something a little different, a pleasant find

8.0/10
