Harviestoun Bitter and twisted

Today's offering is Scottish ale

Appearance:

Very pale blond, slightly cloudy with small but lasting head.

Aroma:

Starts with a little spicy hops with nice soft malt and tangy citrus flavour

Taste:

The initial flavour reminds me of ice tea with a slight bit of sugar as there is an underlying bitterness and also a malt flavour reminds. The finish is fruit hop with that firm underpinning of malt it is soft but a  long finish

Overall:

A nice refreshing light beer that would be very nice in the summer but I would not go out of my way to find it.

7.0/10
