Hook Norton Old Hooky

Today's offering is English best bitter from Oxfordshire

Appearance:

Rich copper with a small but lasting head

Aroma:

Freshly baked current bread with a background of hops

Taste:

Malt taste fill the mouth at first then the fruit comes to the fore and the bitter hops come through, with a nice level of carbonation. The finish starts sweet with malt and fruit overtones and a lovely bitterness is the final taste.

Overall:

A good best bitter nothing special but nice enough. Very moreish and refreshing.

7.5/10
