Dark copper with nice head that last
Aroma:
Sultana is the dominant aroma with a slight hoppyness in the background.
Taste:
Starts with sultana which fades to a rich bread flavour with a slight roasted flavour and a small amount of floral hops. The finish is warming and swings from sultana to bread flavour and a toast of roasted grain also comes in and out but is slightly weak and I would like a bigger hit of flavour in the finish.
Overall:
A good beer which should be enjoyed slowly but that finish is a bit weak to really elevate it to a great beer.
