Bierra Morettti La Rossa

Today's offering one brought back for me from a friends holidays and better still a beer I had never heard of before

 

 

 

 

 

Appearance:

Dark red chestnut  with very slightly white head that really lasts

Aroma:

Sweet Roasted malt at first that is replaced by a very mild coffee

Taste:

The dark roast grain comes across first and as it fades sweetness follows, and finally some chemical bitterness at the very end of the finish


Overall:

Not one for me, not enough going on, surprisingly low alcohol kick given the 7.2% but I think this is due to the over carbonisation
