Appearance:

Dark dark chestnut brown almost black with small off-white head that really lasts

Aroma:

Roasted grain mixed with milky coffee and a hint of spicy hops.

Taste:

The dark roast grain comes across first followed by a cake like sweetness balanced by spicy hops. The finish is slightly smokey liquorice and slight vinous fruitness


Overall:

Odd this beer misses a middle in the taste nice start, nice finish but thin in the middle.
