Fuller's 1845

keeping up the numerical theme is today's offering

Appearance

Dark hazy ruby chestnut with large off white lasting head

Aroma

Burnt grain with raisins and a touch of Terry 's dark chocolate orange

Taste

Bitter chocolate and burnt malt slowly building bitter hops. The finish is very long bitter at first with slight heat of alcohol and peppery hops come in all underpinned by dark chocolate.

Overall

Maybe more for Autumn but a fine beer which has big flavour and complexity. 8.5/10
