Hobsons Kiss me now, a wintery stout

A seasonal beer from my local brewery

Appearance:

Dark almost black with lasting cream head

Aroma:

Dark grain with chocolate and a hint of coffee malt and just a bit of hops.

Taste:

Bitter burnt grain which fades to plain chocolate at than start which is smoothed out by a by floral hops with a tartness pleasant carbonation the finish is long balanced between the bitter burnt grain and floral hops.

Overall:

Nice winter beer I would like a bit more omph in terms of alcohol to make it a real winter warmer. But a nice beer which will make it home with me.

7.5 /10
