Mikkeller Texas Ranger

Today offering is danish and has a whole long list of ingredients: almond milk, cocoa, chili, black beans and avocado leaves.

Appearance

Black with a dark tan head

Aroma

Coco powder and chili hit the nose first with a touch of malt.

Taste

Starts with a hit of coco powder bitter and dark, the a more floral taste is hinted at but is replace by first chili. The finish is bitter drying with the chili heat in the background.

Overall

Despite what I thought would be to much ingredients. this is a nice beer. That said others have done more with less. 8/10
