Fills the mouth with malt than citrus hops come quickly to the fore. Great depth of flavour. Touch of pine comes through then warming alcohol than an almost ammonia tang with a sweetness. the finish is creamy malt and floral hops.

Hobson's Goldings green hop beer

This one use half a day fresh hops and is brewed in my "home" town.

Appearance

Very light pale slightly cloudy straw colour

Aroma

Fresh cut grass with touch of pepper and bitterness at the end.

Starts bitter which fades and a lovely creamy malt comes to the fore. Then the hops are back drying and bitter that leaves the finish which is refreshing.

Although seasonal only in September would be a great beer for the summer. let's see if I can keep some for then

Lindeboom Pilsener

Today's offering is a Dutch pils.

Appearance

Light pale gold with small head

Aroma

Dominated by malt with a touch of cut grass

Taste

At first it has citrus and herbal taste and the very bitter hops take over with hints of tart fruit coming stronger as time goes on. The finish is drying and bitter and a touch musty with a hint of citrus.

Overall

Being in the Netherlands albeit the randstad this beer is not so available but it is a refreshing pils. Worth a try rather than the ubiquitous Dutch plus.
